Is Israeli action in Gaza justified?

I come from Northumbria, I am not arabic, I just hate Nazis. I have opposed them all my adult life and it sickens me to see the Israelis become the monster they were fleeing from. SOMEBODY, or rather EVERYBODY - SAVE PALESTINE BEFORE THEY ARE ALL MURDERED.
